A graduate of the Royal Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts and a daughter of the celebrated Nagybánya (Baia Mare) painters' colony, she studied under luminaries such as Lajos Ébner Deák, Oszkár Glatz, István Réti and István Csók. Her work was admired in Paris, where she also worked, and the finest examples have reached well above 5,000 euros. Painted in oil on canvas and discreetly reinforced from behind at three points for security, this is a rare and lovely survivor for the discerning collector.
