Nine hand-painted faience plates from Kellinghusen, the small Holstein town whose tin-glazed pottery German collectors have followed for generations, all in the Trenck decoration of tulips, songbirds and folk flowers in egg-yolk yellow, manganese, green and cobalt. Seven are dinner size and two are considerably larger, and every one carries the genuine Kellinghusen Trenck workshop stamp on the reverse. A run of nine with this much colour took us patience and luck to assemble, so we offer the set whole.
