Antique Thai Brass Repoussé Relief of Rama and Sita, Hand-Chased Siamese Wall Plaque

Rama and Sita, the divine couple of the Ramayana, raised by hand in repoussé from a single 1 mm sheet of brass, Siamese work of about 1880 to 1930. The sheet is heavy enough that it does not flex like thin tourist pieces, and the background punching is very fine. On the reverse, the maker's stamp with incised marks beside it.
