Madulain and the ruins of Burg Guardaval (Gardovall) in the Swiss Engadine, drawn by Adolph Müller and cut in steel by Henry Winkles. The original 19th century hand colouring has faded into soft, sun-warmed alpine tones that reproductions never get right, and it comes in a gilded frame with a cream passepartout. Small, but it holds a wall.
