A fine French violin bow from the early 20th century, crafted by Charles Nicolas Bazin (1847–1915), one of the most prolific and respected bow makers of the Mirecourt school. This bow is branded “Tourte”, a traditional homage stamp used by French archetier workshops.

Stick: Fine Pernambuco, round, of beautiful red-brown wood with strong grain
Frog: Ebony, nickel-mounted with Parisian eye, pearl slide, and silver fittings
Button: Three-piece with matching nickel rings
Balance: Even and responsive, typical of Mirecourt craftsmanship
