Striking vintage tribal mask from the Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire), masterfully hand-carved from heavy solid wood and finished in expressive polychrome paint.
This sculptural piece features a bold white ground with contrasting deep blue ear elements and rich red-brown lips. The facial geometry gives the mask an almost Cubist, modernist presence while remaining rooted in traditional West African carving traditions.
The stylized window-like motifs on the forehead and the strong horizontal banded headdress add symbolic and structural depth. The surface shows authentic age wear and patina consistent with vintage use, enhancing its character and visual impact.

I recently purchased a violin bow from here. The bow is just as described, high-quality and all prepared for play. The silver winding and frog look great.
Communication was good and they shipped quickly. The bow was safely packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that, while the bow performs exceptionally well, I found it slightly heavier than expected.

Wasn’t totally sure what to expect since there weren’t many reviews, but this bow completely surprised me. It got this for my daughter who needed a good follow-on bow as shes getting much better at playing... Honestly, took a bit of a gamble, but I’m really happy I did. ..Definitely a great find!

Looks better than expected!! Arrived in perfect condition, carefully packaged with bubble wrap. The sculpture looks sleek and polished, and has the artist's signature on the back so a genuine piece. It works great for my Airbnb. These guys are great.
