A compelling triptych of carved panels, inspired by the celebrated temple reliefs of Khajuraho, India—renowned for their intricate depictions of divine sensuality and sacred eroticism. Likely crafted in the mid-to-late 20th century, these panels are rendered in an ivory-toned resin or stone composite, faithfully echoing the stylistic elegance and symbolic power of the Chandela dynasty’s 10th–11th century stone carvings.

The central rectangular plaque presents a vibrant multi-figure composition framed by temple-like columns, illustrating ritual and tantric scenes with expressive movement and ceremonial atmosphere. Flanking it are two arched companion panels, each featuring smaller vignettes of entwined figures in classical poses, with delicate attention to jewelry, form, and gesture.

Mounted on a polished stone base, the ensemble comes with notable provenance, having once belonged to the private collection of a European diplomat stationed in South Asia during the 1970s–1980s. The set was acquired during his time in India, where he developed a deep appreciation for regional art and cultural history.

High quality violin bow

I recently purchased a violin bow from here. The bow is just as described, high-quality and all prepared for play. The silver winding and frog look great.

Communication was good and they shipped quickly. The bow was safely packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that, while the bow performs exceptionally well, I found it slightly heavier than expected.
