Signed French Art Nouveau Wall Sconce by Müller Frères, Luneville – Pâte de Verre Shades, Fully Rewired, Early 20th Century

An exquisite and fully functional French Art Nouveau double-arm wall sconce, signed Müller Frères Luneville, one of the most esteemed glassmakers of the Belle Époque era. Dating to circa 1900–1920, this piece combines superb craftsmanship in both metalwork and glass, and has been expertly rewired to modern standards, complete with a discreet on/off switch for everyday convenience.

The ornate cast brass backplate is decorated with flowing, organic motifs typical of the Art Nouveau movement—graceful scrolls, foliage, and elegant curvature. Each arm holds a magnificent pâte de verre glass shade, crafted in the signature style of the Müller brothers. The shades feature a softly squared tulip form, in richly mottled tones of rose pink, amethyst, clouded cream, and deep cobalt, giving the impression of a twilight landscape captured in glass.

The pâte de verre technique, involving finely ground glass melted within a mold, results in a rich, tactile surface and luminous depth of color. The shades are signed "Müller Frères Luneville", affirming their authenticity and origin.
