A grand vintage crystal wall mirror that makes an immediate statement in any room. The thick faceted plate is cut with a wide bevel that catches and throws light, set within a richly gilded frame whose moulded profile is decorated with a finely beaded, gadrooned border. At roughly 149 cm across it reads as a true centrepiece, equally at home above a console, a fireplace, a sideboard or along a hallway. Both fittings are present, so the mirror can be hung horizontally or vertically to suit your wall.
This is a decorative piece in the French taste, warm and ornate without being heavy, with the soft glow of an aged gilt finish. The bevelled crystal is bright and clear, and the generous scale gives a real sense of depth and light to a space. An honest vintage mirror with light surface wear consistent with age and use; please review the photographs, which form part of the description.

For a layered, gilded wall, set it alongside The Last Supper Reverse Glass Icon in an Ornate Gilded Frame.
Shipping and Care
Free, fully insured worldwide shipping. The mirror is professionally packed for transit; packed parcel weight is up to about 30 kg. Clean the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner applied to the cloth rather than the mirror; keep moisture away from the gilded frame and dust it gently with a soft, dry brush.
