A striking pair of hand-carved Shona sculptures, likely from Zimbabwe, crafted from rich, high-polish serpentine stone—a material prized for its deep black luster and exceptional carving properties. These stylized figures reflect the Shona people's enduring sculptural traditions, combining ancestral reverence with modernist abstraction.
The larger sculpture, standing at 24 cm, features an elongated, totemic profile with a prominent, feather-like crest. Its sleek verticality and minimalist geometry suggest a guardian or ancestral spirit. The smaller figure (10.5 cm) sits in a compact, meditative posture, its angular facial features and coiled headwrap echoing traditional motifs of wisdom and introspection.
Both pieces exhibit confident lines, smooth planes, and expressive force.

I recently purchased a violin bow from here. The bow is just as described, high-quality and all prepared for play. The silver winding and frog look great.
Communication was good and they shipped quickly. The bow was safely packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that, while the bow performs exceptionally well, I found it slightly heavier than expected.

Wasn’t totally sure what to expect since there weren’t many reviews, but this bow completely surprised me. It got this for my daughter who needed a good follow-on bow as shes getting much better at playing... Honestly, took a bit of a gamble, but I’m really happy I did. ..Definitely a great find!

Looks better than expected!! Arrived in perfect condition, carefully packaged with bubble wrap. The sculpture looks sleek and polished, and has the artist's signature on the back so a genuine piece. It works great for my Airbnb. These guys are great.
