The Seerose Wall Sconce
Meet the Seerose, a water lily caught in bronze and glass that has been quietly blooming since around 1900. This French Art Nouveau wall sconce gathers curved panels of marbled slag glass that drift from soft white through buttery yellow into cool pond green, all cradled in a solid bronze frame and trimmed with a row of beaded studs. The cast backplate and scrolling arm carry every bit of Belle Epoque swagger, while the original Bakelite push switch still clicks with period charm. Light it up and the petals glow like a flower opening on a warm summer evening.
Styling & Collectors Inspiration
Equal parts botanical poetry and dinner party showstopper, the Seerose loves company. Hang it in a hallway beside our Signed French Art Nouveau Wall Sconce by Muller Freres for a coordinated pair of glowing glass. Echo its tulip silhouette with the Elegant French Art Nouveau 4-Armed Tulip Floor Lamp or the Exquisite French Art Nouveau Table Lamp. For a layered, collector worthy corner, set it near the Artistic French Wrought Iron Table Lamp with Pate de Verre Shade and let the green glass do the talking.
